National Videogame Museum Digs Up Concepts for Unmade ‘Alien vs. Predator’ Football Game?!
Long before the Alien and Predator franchises collided on the big screen in Alien vs. Predator, the Xenomorphs and Predators did battle in the early ’90s in the form of comic books and even an SNES video game. As it turns out, another Alien vs. Predator video game was at one point in the works in the 1990s, and, well, it was unconventional to say the least.
The National Videogame Museum’s Twitter account tweeted out this week, “We unearthed these concepts for a canceled Alien vs Predator Football game for the Sega Genesis.”
In “Cosmic Hard Bowl” the Aliens and Predators would settle their conflict through, yes, AMERICAN FOOTBALL
“Cosmic Hard Bowl” was supposedly going to be set in the year 2702 A.D. Not much is known about the game at this time, but you can check out the unearthed concepts below.
Gotta love the ’90s!
