David Gordon Green’s Halloween provided us with much to be excited about, and perhaps nothing more exciting than the fact that John Carpenter (along with son Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies) scored the film. Carpenter hadn’t actually scored a film since his own Ghosts of Mars back in 2001, so that was needless to say a pretty big deal.
Jamie Lee Curtis has stated on the record that she’d love to come back for the inevitable sequel, and as it turns out, John Carpenter is 100% on board for that too!
“We’ll be ready. We’ve all talked about it. We’ll be ready,” Carpenter just told Consequence of Sound, when asked if he’d be back to score the inevitable sequel.
At this time, we don’t know if Danny McBride and/or David Gordon Green will be back.
