Duke Nicholson, Jack Nicholson’s Grandson, Will Make Film Debut in Jordan Peele’s ‘Us’
To date, Duke Nicholson‘s only IMDb credit was for playing Holden Caulfield in The Dandy Warhols’s music video for “Catcher in the Rye,” but he’s now set to make his acting debut on the big screen in Jordan Peele‘s next horror film, Us. Variety brings us the news today.
Story details are being kept under wraps but it’s been said that the film is meant to be as provocative and thought-provoking as Peele’s Oscar-winning debut, Get Out.
Previously announced cast includes Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, Tim Heidecker, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Anna Diop, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Madison Curry, Cali Sheldon and Noelle Sheldon.
Peele, who won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for Get Out, will direct and is also producing via his Monkeypaw Productions, alongside Sean McKittrick and Jason Blum. Also producing is Monkeypaw’s Ian Cooper.
Universal has dated Us for March 15, 2019.
