With Fatshark releasing the first DLC for their sequel to the acclaimed Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide, namely Vermintide 2, those looking to see what all the fuss is about are in luck, as the game, and the new DLC, will be free to play this weekend from August 30th (today!) until September 3rd.
The whole game, including the new DLC, “Shadows Over Bogenhafen” will be available for you to try on Steam. You’ll need to have a friend who already owns the DLC to be able to play it, however. Simply have them invite you into their game. Unfortunately, while Xbox One owners will also have the game free to play during this time, it’s for the main game only.
And if you decide to snag the game before the weekend is up, Fatshark is also having a Free Weekend Special on the game, giving new players 50% off throughout the whole Free Weekend period. So get to it!
