While mobile gaming is plagued with me-too knock-offs and lame ports, there are some instances where effort has been put into the games that are released on the platform. In this case, NetEase have announced that their survival horror, asymmetrical multiplayer game, Identity V, is set to launch on July 5th on the iOS and Android for free.
Originally launched in China last year, the game has benefited from a partnership with Behaviour Interactive, which allowed NetEase to use the asymmetrical multiplayer gameplay from Dead By Daylight in Identity V. Speaking of which, as in Dead By Daylight, in Identity V, it’s a one versus four affair. One person takes on the role of the Hunter, and four other players take on the role as Survivors. The objective of the Survivors is to escape the manor, while the person as the Hunter has to kill all the Survivors.
Right now, you can check out NetEase’s browser game where once you complete it, allows you to pre-register for the game on the platform of your choice.
