In spite of the original release date, the troubles with ratings, Compulsion Games’ We Happy Few is finally coming home this August.
The game, which was originally released through Steam’s Early Access a few years back, has been going through development since that time. And now, the completed game will be available August 28th this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. You can also now pre-order the game through online retailers. Doing so will also give you the pre-order bonus of the Jolly Brolly in-game weapon as a code to use when you get the game. The game’s regular version will be available for $59.99USD, whereas the Deluxe Edition, which includes the game and season pass, will be $79.99USD.
And that Time Capsule Collector’s Edition that was announced a few months back? Like the Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector’s Edition, it will not include the game. The reasoning is to save the publisher money in having to guess at demand for Collector’s Editions on specific platforms. No word on if that $179.99 price tag is still attached to it.
