Wes Craven‘s A Nightmare on Elm Street is distinctly different than most slashers because of the unparalleled banter between Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) and the final girl, Nancy (Heather Langenkamp). Nancy survives her first encounter, only to end up taking NoDoz once again in Dream Warriors.
YouTuber Shawn Kohne explores this relationship in his unique edit of A Nightmare on Elm Street, which he dubs A Nightmare on Love Street. The concept turns the horror upside down and imagines a world in which Freddy and Nancy were lovers. Only, this trailer takes a fun turn when it introduces scenes from Craven’s New Nightmare. Freddy is back in Nancy’s life, but will he commit this time around?
