What color were Roy Burns’ overalls? Blue or green?
Last year, A New Beginning‘s Roy Burns, the killer paramedic, was added into Friday the 13th: The Game as a playable character, sporting those light blue marks on his mask and wearing blue coveralls. Roy wore blue coveralls in the film… right?
Well, the color of Roy’s coveralls has been a hot topic of discussion among gamers, many of whom feel that the game’s blue coveralls don’t accurately reflect the coloring of Roy’s coveralls in the movie. A minor, inconsequential issue, to be sure, but the game’s developers are nothing if not detail-oriented. So they’ve addressed the issue head on.
In a forum post this week, Gun Media announced that the next update will bring an alternate pair of greenish coveralls into the game, allowing you to choose between blue or green when you select Roy as the killer for any given match. This way, we’re all happy.
“Is this [green] color going to be a perfect match for every scene in Friday the 13th: Part V? No, but it is very close,” they say. “Friday the 13th: The Game will include both blue and green coverall options for Roy – green being the default, and blue being a secondary option – for everyone’s favorite paramedic in the next update.”
Good on you, Gun Media!
